Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be in good health as verified by a current health screening, including a test for Tuberculosis performed under the supervision of a physician not more than 60 days prior to employment
- Proof of up-to-date immunization records to include but not limited to Measles, Pertussis, Tuberculosis (every 4 years) and Influenza (annually)
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, criminal record, FBI and DOJ clearance and child abuse index check prior to employment
- Completion of Mandated Reporter Training as per Assembly Bill 1207, must be completed every 2 years
- Completion of Community Care Licensing Child Care Orientation and Record Keeping Training
- Must be bilingual/biliterate

Job Duties
- Serve as a liaison of communication for all internal and external clients
- Greet visitors and ensure they are assisted promptly and courteously
- Answer phones in a timely and courteous manner and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Maintain a welcoming, clean, and child-safe front office area
- Ensure all visitors check in upon arrival
- Place maintenance requests to management as needed
- Clean kitchen as needed, including disposal of leftover food
- Prepare coffee each morning and throughout the day as needed
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory
- Maintain office equipment and complete work orders as needed (printers, copy machines, postage machines etc.)
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Update mailboxes as needed
- Maintain and prepare marketing materials
- Complete purchase orders as needed
- Request estimates/quotes from vendors as needed
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and photocopying
- Assist with special projects and tasks as needed by leadership
- Reserve the conference rooms as requested by management
- Distribute staff birthday cards after being signed by leaders
- Update monthly birthday list and distribute to appropriate staff
- Prepare conference rooms for meetings and/or luncheons
- Support families in completing online waitlist applications and identifying rank
- Update waitlist database based on information provided by families
- Support Human Resources Department in creating new hire binders
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Assistant or Chief Executive Officer
- Ensure the health and welfare of children and staff is maintained at all times
- Mandated to report suspected child abuse
- Report safety hazards and injuries immediately and ensure proper paperwork is completed in a timely manner
