Job Requirements
- Register and score a minimum of 85% on the HRT Clerical Skills Test with typing speed of 35 wpm and 90% accuracy
- high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency, and two years of office and administrative support experience, or Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- must have a valid Texas driver's license and maintain a good driving record
- customer service and interpersonal skills
- time management and attention to detail
- problem-solving abilities
- willingness to work flexible hours and accept direction
- self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work at multiple locations or any department or location as needed
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
- answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- provide basic information about Precinct 4, services, and directions
- assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
- coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare meeting spaces for the Preston and Fannin office locations
- monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
- support the Administration team with clerical tasks as assigned
- provide support to other offices/locations as needed
