Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Personal Injury legal firm or Medical Industry or as Medical Assistant
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Able to travel to the offices of GGL as needed
  • Customer service experience: 2 years
  • Legal new client intake experience: 2 years
  • Facility with Spanish language
  • Availability for temporary 1-month assignment
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and weekends as needed
  • High school or equivalent education

  • Bilingual, facility with English and Spanish is required

Job Duties

  • Answer phone calls, respond to prospective calls, and take notes
  • Scan client intake files
  • Sort all team mail and distribute
  • Assist office liaison with team engagement projects, birthdays, anniversaries, volunteer event planning
  • Ask a series of questions for the purpose of compiling data to determine the next course of action
  • Receive, evaluate, collect data, and coordinate referral activities in collaboration with the Referral Department
  • Review all alert calls for leads and create leads on case management system - Smart Advocate
  • Process and upload documents in case management system
  • Organize and scan documents
  • Research police reports in Legal Plex
  • Maintain legal files and other relevant information in digital databases
  • Dispute denial claims
  • Make transportation arrangements for clients and manage car service accounts
  • Interact with attorneys and paralegals to discuss the client retainer and intake timely
  • Communicate constructively and enhance resolutions
  • Receive and send email daily
  • Provide support to other administrative staff and perform other duties as assigned
