This Temporary Event Support Staff position reports directly to the Assistant Athletics Director of Facilities and Event Operations. The role is crucial in maintaining a secure and safe environment during a wide variety of events held within the Freeman Athletic Center. Key responsibilities include monitoring access points to ensure only authorized entry, conducting regular patrols throughout the facility to observe and address any security concerns, and responding promptly to incidents that may arise during events. Additionally, the staff member plays a supportive role by assisting with crowd control, managing the flow and behavior of attendees to ensure a smooth and safe event experience. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, reflecting the dynamic nature of event support and the need to adapt to different situations.
