  • Minimum of one year experience in culinary department at a private club or resort setting preferred

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop or bend for an eight hour shift

Job Duties

  • Prepares food items according to the chef's specifications and recipes to ensure orders are timely
  • Evaluates cooking methods, times and temperature to ensure quality and safety
  • Sets up and prepares station area to ensure line is ready for orders at least 15 minutes prior to service time
  • Prepares food according to chef's specifications and recipes to ensure appealing and accurate presentation
  • Restocks food items throughout the shift to ensure availability at all times
  • Exhibits knowledge of operating kitchen equipment to ensure equipment is used correctly and safely
  • Uses product labeling system to label and date, using FIFO method for all raw and prepped food products to ensure freshness
  • Ensures that assigned work areas are clean and organized
  • Performs related duties as assigned
