The company is recognized for its deep commitment to providing exceptional living experiences for seniors and their families, consistently earning accolades such as the Great Place to Work\u00ae certification from 2022 through 2026.

Operating as part of one of the largest senior living families in the U.S., Discovery Management Group places a strong focus on growth and continuous learning. The organization is dedicated to fostering an environment where team members can thrive professionally and personally, offering a range of development opportunities to help employees build meaningful and rewarding careers. The company culture is rooted in values like teamwork, integrity, accountability, compassion, hard work, creativity, and performance. This culture not only supports the residents but empowers the employees, driving innovation and success across its many communities.

The Concierge role within Discovery Management Group is critical in shaping the welcoming environment that residents, families, guests, and team members experience every day. The Concierge is the frontline ambassador, playing an essential role in enriching the lives of seniors by providing warm greetings, managing communications proficiently, and supporting resident services to maintain smooth operations. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and an ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced senior living community setting.

This position typically follows a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The Concierge’s workday revolves around managing both internal and external communications, including answering phones courteously, taking detailed messages, and coordinating various resident and family appointments such as transportation and salon services. Keeping the front desk organized and welcoming is another cornerstone of this role, as it helps create a positive first impression and ensures efficient daily operations.

Additionally, the Concierge supports marketing efforts by collating brochures and preparing materials, assists Dining Services by preparing meal tickets and tallying counts, and manages resident forms and logs such as move-in and move-out registers and guest logs. Confidentiality and adherence to company policies are paramount in this role, underlining the community’s commitment to resident privacy and a professional work environment.

Discovery Management Group embraces change, continuously evolving their service offerings and workplace culture to remain the industry leader and provide the best possible experience for residents and team members alike. The company is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer that values diversity and fosters inclusiveness. Prospective Concierges should expect to engage in meaningful work that impacts the senior living community positively while benefiting from competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, flexible scheduling options, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization.
