The role of Maintenance Mechanic at East Penn is a pivotal one within the company’s manufacturing operations. This full-time position offers an average wage starting at $27 per hour with a consistent schedule guaranteeing 40 hours per week and opportunities for overtime. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, and installing industrial manufacturing equipment and systems critical to the company’s production process. You will also rebuild replacement parts and ensure all equipment is properly maintained to avoid production downtime. A strong focus on proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices in the workplace is fundamental to this role.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience and skills in mechanical, fluid power, and electrical systems, as well as welding and rigging. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and the ability to work mandatory overtime when required. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- technical training or apprenticeship in maintenance or mechanical fields preferred
- minimum of 2 years experience in industrial maintenance or related role
- ability to work mandatory overtime
- physical ability to perform manual labor
- valid state driver’s license
- strong problem-solving skills
- commitment to safety practices
Job Qualifications
