The Teller Floater position, based in the Northern Region, plays a critical role as the first point of contact for members. This role demands a teller who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service while managing cash transactions with accuracy and confidentiality. The Teller Floater supports members not only by processing routine transactions such as withdrawals, deposits, check cashing, loan payments, cashier's checks, and money orders but also by educating members about Coastal1’s products, services, and the latest technology in banking. The position emphasizes proactive assistance in helping members access self-service tools, enabling them to bank smarter and more efficiently. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cash handling experience
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new products and technological tools
- Flexibility to work in different branch locations within the Northern Region
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cash handling experience
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to deliver courteous and knowledgeable member service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services is an advantage
Job Duties
- Provide excellent member service from start to finish with each member
- Process all member transactions accurately and promptly including withdrawals, deposits, check cashing, loan payments, cashier's checks, money orders, and inquiries
- Perform transactions discreetly and confidentially
- Follow established processes and guidelines in daily activities adhering to all applicable policies, laws, and regulations
- Complete assigned compliance training within required time frames
- Assist members with general account questions within the scope of their role
- Know when to refer members to the appropriate team member for additional more in-depth services
- Prioritize learning about products and services and navigate internal portals efficiently
- Perform other duties as required
