Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability for 1-2 week training period during first or second shift, Monday through Friday
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including varied shift times
  • Basic proficiency with computers and telehealth technology
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel between Milwaukee and Beloit locations as needed
  • Ability to perform clerical and administrative duties accurately
  • No emergency medical service responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a healthcare or customer service environment preferred
  • Basic computer skills and comfort with technology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to varying schedules
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service to patients in a timely and professional manner
  • Receptionist/front desk duties including filing, copying, faxing, answering and/or forwarding phone calls, as well as taking messages
  • Assist physicians and counselors with telepsychiatry set-up and related clerical and administrative duties
  • Screen new patients to collect demographic and pertinent medical information and input into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) before patient is seen by provider
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on Telehealth equipment (computer, microphone, television) as needed
  • Schedule new appointments, diagnostic tests, follow-up visits, and initiate reminders as necessary
  • Complete prior authorizations, insurance verification, and collect co-pays
  • Collect and post data for billing
