Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability for 1-2 week training period during first or second shift, Monday through Friday
- Ability to work flexible schedule including varied shift times
- Basic proficiency with computers and telehealth technology
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to travel between Milwaukee and Beloit locations as needed
- Ability to perform clerical and administrative duties accurately
- No emergency medical service responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare or customer service environment preferred
- Basic computer skills and comfort with technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to varying schedules
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide customer service to patients in a timely and professional manner
- Receptionist/front desk duties including filing, copying, faxing, answering and/or forwarding phone calls, as well as taking messages
- Assist physicians and counselors with telepsychiatry set-up and related clerical and administrative duties
- Screen new patients to collect demographic and pertinent medical information and input into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) before patient is seen by provider
- Perform basic troubleshooting on Telehealth equipment (computer, microphone, television) as needed
- Schedule new appointments, diagnostic tests, follow-up visits, and initiate reminders as necessary
- Complete prior authorizations, insurance verification, and collect co-pays
- Collect and post data for billing
