We are currently seeking highly professional and qualified Pesticide and Fertilizer Technicians to join our team. In this role, the technician will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of a variety of lawns, shrubs, and trees across multiple high-profile properties. This position involves the practical application of chemical products and fertilizers, combined with the inspection and diagnosis of insect problems, diseases, and weeds affecting the landscapes. The role requires daily pre-trip inspections of vehicles, trailers, and equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Job Requirements
- legal authorization to work in the united states
- ability to diagnose insect, disease, and weed problems in the field
- one year of experience in fertilization and chemicals
- reliable transportation to the office or first work location
- safe driving record and ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle report (mvr)
- strong communication skills
- spanish speaking is a plus
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of experience in fertilization and chemical applications
- ability to diagnose insect, disease, and weed problems in the field
- strong communication skills
- bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Job Duties
- assist in performing chemical and fertilization applications on assigned high-profile properties
- assist with inspecting properties beyond those assigned for any issues
- complete a daily pre-trip inspection report of vehicle, trailers, and equipment
- contribute to our safety culture by attending and actively participating in weekly safety training
- follow company safety protocols and identify and communicate safety concerns to the team
