We are currently seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional teams at Walmart. The General Facilities Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventative maintenance tasks on Walmart's facilities, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring all areas are safe, functional, and visually appealing. Working closely with the local General Maintenance Manager, this position follows established maintenance schedules and guidelines to perform inspections, repairs, cleaning, and other upkeep duties in alignment with company standards.

The role requires hands-on technical skills across multiple trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and maintenance of material handling and food equipment. Technicians use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and technical equipment to complete their daily tasks efficiently. The position demands a proactive approach to maintenance, including responding promptly to emergency repair calls and managing repair documentation via the work order management system.
