Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
  • valid state driver’s license and positive driving history required
  • minimum two years’ technical maintenance experience preferred
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • ability to climb ladders and railcars
  • ability to move and roll a 400 pound resin bed exchange
  • exposure to diesel exhaust fluid and water processing chemicals
  • ability to work onsite at DEF plants requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
  • willingness to travel up to 10 percent

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
  • valid state driver’s license and positive driving history required
  • minimum two years’ technical maintenance experience preferred
  • basic Microsoft Office skills preferred
  • good technical skills and understanding of flow measurement equipment and systems
  • ability to use hand tools to replace or repair pumps and other heavy equipment
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • ability to manage time and work independently
  • ability to work collaboratively with internal support teams to resolve issues

Job Duties

  • Responsible for daily DEF blending process and collection and submission of product samples
  • perform light plant maintenance such as greasing equipment, monitoring water systems, replacing equipment filters and resin beds, sweeping to prevent equipment failure
  • collaborate daily with the DEF Rail Movements Specialist to schedule rail car deliveries of DEF concentrate to plant(s)
  • troubleshoot equipment repairs for technical and mechanical issues with guidance from assistant manager
  • maintain inventory of replacement parts
  • ensure all safety and operational procedures are followed at the blending site(s)
  • recommend improvements for DEF plant operations and assist in implementing operational changes
  • travel to other DEF sites to conduct blending operations as needed
  • model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose
  • ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
  • ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • complete other duties as assigned
