Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
- valid state driver’s license and positive driving history required
- minimum two years’ technical maintenance experience preferred
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- ability to climb ladders and railcars
- ability to move and roll a 400 pound resin bed exchange
- exposure to diesel exhaust fluid and water processing chemicals
- ability to work onsite at DEF plants requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
- willingness to travel up to 10 percent
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
- valid state driver’s license and positive driving history required
- minimum two years’ technical maintenance experience preferred
- basic Microsoft Office skills preferred
- good technical skills and understanding of flow measurement equipment and systems
- ability to use hand tools to replace or repair pumps and other heavy equipment
- good written and verbal communication skills
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- ability to manage time and work independently
- ability to work collaboratively with internal support teams to resolve issues
Job Duties
- Responsible for daily DEF blending process and collection and submission of product samples
- perform light plant maintenance such as greasing equipment, monitoring water systems, replacing equipment filters and resin beds, sweeping to prevent equipment failure
- collaborate daily with the DEF Rail Movements Specialist to schedule rail car deliveries of DEF concentrate to plant(s)
- troubleshoot equipment repairs for technical and mechanical issues with guidance from assistant manager
- maintain inventory of replacement parts
- ensure all safety and operational procedures are followed at the blending site(s)
- recommend improvements for DEF plant operations and assist in implementing operational changes
- travel to other DEF sites to conduct blending operations as needed
- model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose
- ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- complete other duties as assigned
