Job Requirements

  • at least seven years experience in bakery operational settings
  • valid driver’s license
  • dependable transportation
  • proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • ability to conduct general math and business calculations
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to travel frequently
  • physical ability to perform sensory evaluations and lift moderate weights

Job Qualifications

  • certification from accredited culinary or baking school preferred
  • minimum seven years bakery operations experience as baker, supervisor or manager
  • valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • ability to read, analyze and interpret business and technical information
  • effective presentation and communication skills
  • strong mathematical skills including yield, costing and profit calculations
  • proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • CRM experience a plus
  • ability to travel domestically and internationally

Job Duties

  • adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules
  • exemplify the BakeMark core values and ways of working
  • plan and lead execution of technical service meetings and projects
  • demonstrate and troubleshoot BakeMark products in customer bakeries or facilities
  • lead regional training opportunities for sales teams
  • support product development testing and analysis
  • act as subject matter expert for technical insights and support
  • lead localized recipe development
  • follow good manufacturing practices and maintain sanitation duties
