The restaurant operates within a fast-paced environment, focusing on efficient food service, customer satisfaction, and maintaining hygienic standards. As a well-established dining destination, the company emphasizes teamwork, operational excellence, and employee development to ensure a superior customer experience. The employment type for this position is nonexempt with a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week, including irregular hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays, making it ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic and flexible working conditions.

The role being offered is for a Team/Crew Leader who reports directly to the Manager on Duty (MOD). This position plays a critical role in both performing and supervising basic operational duties across multiple stations such as fountain and frozen beverage, dresser, front and back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food preparation, and drive-thru if applicable. The Team/Crew Leader is responsible for meeting operational standards by ensuring quality service and product output. In addition to hands-on task completion, the leader also supports employee onboarding by assisting with new employee orientation and providing ongoing training to foster skill development among crew members.

The position also includes responsibilities centered on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation. The Team/Crew Leader leads and supervises station cleaning duties, which involve trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food prep areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease. Maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment is essential to upholding company standards and ensuring guest satisfaction. This role demands regular attendance and presents opportunities to lead shift meetings, report customer or employee concerns to the management team, and manage food product stocking, including lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.

This leadership position requires strong interpersonal skills including effective verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, decision-making, time management, and conflict resolution. Working as a Team/Crew Leader in this environment means consistently demonstrating reliability, adaptability, and the ability to lead by example in a highly active setting. The work environment involves continuous physical activity such as standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting in a restaurant setting. The position also entails frequent exposure to heat, hot liquid shortening during cooking, freezer conditions while stocking food items, and occasionally variable outdoor weather conditions depending on the location.

Overall, this Team/Crew Leader role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in restaurant operations, leadership, and customer service, within a welcoming and professionally driven company.
