We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Team/Crew Leader to join our dynamic team. This nonexempt position reports directly to the Manager on Duty (MOD) and offers the opportunity to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, including irregular hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays. The Team/Crew Leader plays a critical role in supporting daily operations by performing and supervising key duties across multiple stations, such as fountain and frozen beverages, food prep, grill, drive-thru, and more, depending on business needs.

In this role, you will lead by example, ensuring all operational procedures are met and that every task aligns with company policies and standards. Key responsibilities include assisting with new employee orientation and training, leading shift meetings, and addressing customer or employee concerns promptly and effectively by communicating with management. You will also oversee sanitation and cleaning activities, maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment. This position demands a hands-on leader capable of multitasking, making sound decisions under pressure, and resolving conflicts with professionalism.

The ideal candidate has a general understanding of restaurant or retail environments, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-moving setting. Physical stamina is essential, given the continuous standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to fluctuating temperatures typical within a restaurant kitchen. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 30 hours availability per week including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, move, stoop, stretch, and lift continuously in a restaurant environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds reliably
  • Capacity to work in hot, cold, and variable weather conditions
  • Effective communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or retail setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform, lead, and supervise station duties including fountain and frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru as assigned
  • Assist with new employee orientation and training
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Perform, lead, and supervise regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease
  • Regular attendance
  • Lead shift meetings
  • Report customer or employee complaints or issues to MOD
  • Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required
