The company is currently seeking Team Members within its operations department who will report directly to the General Manager. This non-exempt role encompasses both part-time and full-time seasonal positions, especially during peak business periods typically from April 1st through September 30th. Seasonal Associates play a vital role in supporting the daily functions of these travel plazas during their busiest times and receive a range of benefits designed to support their work-life balance and professional growth. As a Team Member at Applegreen US, your primary responsibility is to enhance the overall customer experience by offering friendly and efficient service to travelers stopping at the plaza. This includes operating point-of-sale systems to process payments accurately, assisting with food preparation and serving quality menu items in accordance with brand standards, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment. The position also involves stocking and rotating food products, adhering to strict food safety guidelines, and actively promoting product offerings through cross-selling and up-selling techniques. Beyond operational duties, you will be expected to foster a positive work environment that reflects the company’s core values, which emphasize putting customers and communities first, valuing and developing employees, maintaining a pace driven by passion and performance, and embracing opportunities for change.
