Mission Yogurt is currently seeking Front of House (FOH) Team Members to join the Greenleaf Kitchen and Cocktails team at John Wayne Airport. This role is critical to delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for all patrons. As an FOH Team Member, you will be the face of Greenleaf, engaging with customers warmly and professionally while efficiently handling cash transactions and other front-of-house duties. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with menu selections, accurately processing payments, and ensuring that food and beverage orders are prepared to high standards and meet customer expectations. You will also help maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, contributing to a welcoming and sanitary environment. The role requires excellent verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising service quality.

Mission Yogurt offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $18.00 per hour plus tips, making this an attractive opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Must have basic food preparation skills or a willingness to learn
  • Availability and willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cashier, team member, or in a customer service role
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Ability to perform in a multi-tasking environment and work creatively with limited resources
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Delivers superior food and beverage service and maximizes customer satisfaction
  • Contributes to a positive work environment through enthusiasm, dedication, and responsiveness
  • Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently

Job Duties

  • Ensures the safety and security of both guests and team members
  • Accurately handle cash transactions and process payments using the POS system, making sure the drawer remains balanced throughout the shift
  • Assesses work-related issues in a professional manner and exercises honest, non-biased judgment
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations
  • Address customer concerns and escalate to management if necessary
  • Assist with other front-of-house tasks as needed, including taking orders, answering customer questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Clean and sanitize the cashier area regularly, especially during peak times and after customer transactions, and assist with other small tasks as needed
