Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a culinary or food service role preferred but not required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards

Job Duties

  • Follow DIG recipes for prepping, mixing, and cooking vegetables, proteins, and grains
  • Gain exposure to different kitchen stations including Garde Manger, Grill, Roast, Market line, Concierge, and Delivery/Packout
  • Speak to current menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests
  • Work to support the team during peak and off peak service by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary
  • Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time
  • Help to maintain the “A” letter grade by following Department of Health and DIG food safety standards
