Team Members handle a variety of duties crucial to daily store operations, including operating cash registers, performing merchandising tasks, assembling products, handling inventory and freight, executing price changes, and assisting customers with loading purchases. They also ensure safety and care for poultry where applicable, including maintaining cleanliness and well-being of birds. Physical demands of the role include moving merchandise up to 50 pounds, operating store equipment like forklifts and balers (with age restrictions), and maintaining consistent attendance and flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. The role requires individuals who can maintain composure and professionalism while using strong communication, problem-solving skills, and basic computer proficiency to facilitate smooth store operations. This position also offers opportunities for training and certification, including propane dispensing certifications for eligible Team Members.
