Job Description

Mendocino Farms is a dynamic and innovative restaurant company known for its commitment to serving delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully crafted sandwiches, salads, and other culinary delights. Since its founding in 2005, Mendocino Farms has built a reputation for offering so much more than just food; it promotes an experience that connects guests with culinary adventure and happiness. The company emphasizes quality ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every guest feels like a friend, whether they are visiting for the first time or returning for a beloved meal. Mendocino Farms blends approachably adventurous menus with outstanding hospitality to create memorable dining moments that go beyond simply satisfying hunger.

Mendocino Farms is currently seeking Front of House (FOH) Restaurant Team Members to join their new location opening at Pacific City in Huntington Beach. These team members will hold versatile roles including Host, Cashier, Food Runner, and general FOH Team Member duties. The positions are part-time with opportunities to grow into full-time roles. The pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, including tips, illustrating the companys commitment to rewarding excellent service fairly. All team members participate in a tip pool to ensure equitable sharing of tips among staff.

As a FOH Restaurant Team Member with Mendocino Farms, you will be an integral part of the guest experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, guiding guests through the menu with a hospitable attitude, running food from the kitchen to tables, bussing tables, and helping with plating food when needed. The role requires flexibility as team members are expected to work various FOH stations such as cashier, host, expo, floor, and runner positions to maintain a smooth and efficient service flow.

The schedule for these positions requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. This is not a seasonal position, indicating the companys intention to build a stable and committed team for long-term success. Mendocino Farms values great personalities, hospitable attitudes, a genuine desire to help people, and the ability to 'SELL HAPPY'—their unique philosophy of connecting passionately with guests through outstanding service.

Working at Mendocino Farms offers a variety of perks and benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance options, 401k matching, paid sick leave, and participation in an employee assistance program. For those interested in professional growth, there are clear paths for development within the company. Additional perks include transportation reimbursement, discounted tickets, pet insurance, gym memberships, and free delicious meals during every shift. The company also supports language development with English at Work classes.

If you have previous experience in roles such as cashier, customer service, restaurant associate, host, or related customer-facing positions, you may find this role particularly rewarding. Mendocino Farms team members are enthusiastic, service-oriented, and dedicated to ensuring every customer leaves happier than when they arrived. If you are excited by the idea of working in a positive, fast-paced environment that values happiness and outstanding food service, this opportunity at Mendocino Farms Pacific City is the perfect fit.
