Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Availability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene practices
- Basic physical ability to lift and stock merchandise
- Customer-focused attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for cheese and food knowledge desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling orders and transactions
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Job Duties
- Provide incredible service by proactively approaching customers and answering questions
- Take orders, package product, and keep our shelves stocked throughout the day
- Consistently grow product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new and featured items
- Unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Cheese Shop area
- Assist in creating attractive displays to highlight featured cheeses
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth department operations
