Job Requirements

  • must be at least 16 years old
  • ability to stand and walk 90 to 95 percent of the shift
  • ability to lift and carry 15 to 25 pounds
  • ability to listen and accurately take guest orders
  • basic math skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • compliance with Jack in the Box uniform and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • experience in guest service or food preparation preferred
  • must be at least 16 years old
  • ability to understand and communicate clearly in English
  • ability to perform basic math
  • ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • knowledge of food safety standards is beneficial
  • must have good interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • deliver exceptional guest experience by providing excellent service and quality food
  • follow Jack in the Box procedures and standards to meet guest expectations
  • maintain cleanliness inside and outside the restaurant
  • operate kitchen equipment and prepare food according to standards
  • assemble orders accurately and ensure food presentation and temperature meet quality criteria
  • interact positively with guests and handle complaints using the three-step problem-solving method
  • work effectively as part of a team and assist coworkers as needed
