This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated franchisee restaurant, not directly with Jack in the Box Inc. The independent franchisee is the actual employer, handling all employment-related matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, wages, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. As a team member at this Jack in the Box franchise, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by consistently providing excellent service, great-tasting and quality food, and maintaining a clean restaurant environment. You will work across multiple workstations, performing duties in accordance with Jack in the Box procedures, systems, standards, and guest expectations. The role focuses heavily on guest interaction and fulfillment of service excellence standards, including promptness, accuracy, and a friendly attitude.
Key guest expectations include being well-trained to solve problems efficiently and courteously, knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant procedures, neat and well-groomed in accordance with uniform standards, friendly with a positive attitude, well-staffed to maintain operational efficiency, and committed to food safety and quality. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to stand and walk 90-95 percent of the shift
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen and communicate clearly
- Ability to read and operate point-of-sale systems
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
