The Team Member role at Caribou Coffee is foundational to delivering the brand's promise and creating memorable guest experiences. Team Members serve as ambassadors for the brand, engaging personally with guests by building relationships, anticipating needs, and enthusiastically sharing product knowledge. They are skilled in hand-crafting beverages, preparing food to the company’s standards, handling orders and cash transactions, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization. The ability to multitask by floating between barista and guest service roles demonstrates the flexibility and collaboration valued in Caribou’s team-driven culture.

This position is ideal for individuals at least 16 years of age who are enthusiastic about guest service and interested in gaining experience in the restaurant and retail industry. Job Duties

- creates day making experiences that spark a chain reaction of GOOD
- hand-crafts beverages to order per caribou standard operating procedures
- heats, prepares, and serves caribou food offerings to caribou standard operating procedures
- floats between barista and guest service and willingly fulfills all team member roles and responsibilities
- takes guest orders and manages cash drawer and follows all cash handling policies and procedures
- maintains the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization and organization standards
- actively thinks and acts upon what the team and guest will need in the future
- differentiates between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support
- understands that the team is managing multiple priorities and willingly takes direction from leaders
