The current opportunity at Chuze Fitness is an exciting role that places the employee at the forefront of member engagement and gym operations. With an hourly pay range between $18.00 and $19.37, this position involves welcoming and greeting members and guests, managing membership sign-ups and tours, handling phone etiquette professionally, and ensuring the cleanliness and great presentation of the gym facility. Employees will be trained regularly on the latest systems and standards through the Learning Management System to maintain a high level of service quality.
Successful candidates will play an integral role in creating memorable and positive experiences for current and prospective gym members, supporting efficient membership processes, assisting with billing inquiries, and promoting the gym’s diverse amenities and fitness programs. The job also includes unique responsibilities such as preparing smoothies at locations with smoothie bars, demonstrating the broad range of skills involved.

Job Requirements
- able to read, write, and speak clearly in english
- able to walk and climb stairs during gym tours
- able to bend, kneel, and perform repetitive arm movements
- able to stand for long periods
- able to operate a computer
- able to lift at least 50lbs
Job Qualifications
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- customer service experience preferred
- basic computer skills including familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- proactive attitude towards learning and training
- ability to multitask effectively
- previous experience in hospitality or fitness industry is a plus
Job Duties
- welcome, greet, and interact with all members, prospective members, and guests
- provide membership information and facilitate tours
- complete daily cleaning tasks and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
- membership sign-ups, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, and addressing member concerns
- assist with billing issues and disputes and escalate to leadership when needed
- regularly review and complete all training materials and updates in the learning management system (LMS)
- maintain knowledge and assist members with all amenities, membership offerings, fitness programs, and equipment functions
- make and serve smoothies, if applicable, ensuring they meet customer specifications and maintaining quality standards
- attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings
