The Team Member role in the Operations department reports directly to the General Manager. This position is ideal for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a natural ability to motivate others. The Team Member at MAD Greens is central to delivering an outstanding hospitality experience to guests by greeting them warmly, accurately taking their food orders, and ensuring a smooth dining process. This role requires a person who enjoys both customer interaction and collaboration with fellow team members. Key responsibilities include maintaining food quality by managing fresh ingredient availability, preparing food items quickly and accurately, and following all safety and sanitation standards. Additionally, the Team Member plays a critical role in food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, and properly storing food items. Beyond food preparation, this role involves supporting ongoing restaurant operations including cleaning, organization, setup, and breakdown of the restaurant spaces spanning dining area, kitchen, prep area, and restrooms. The person in this role must handle guest concerns effectively while promoting a positive and respectful work environment aligned with MAD Greens’ core values. Regular attendance, dependability, and a cooperative attitude are essential as the Team Member helps foster a welcoming, fun, and performance-driven culture. Job Duties

  • Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome
  • Take guests’ food orders and handle cash and credit transactions
  • Follow MAD Greens operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
  • Make the availability of fresh ingredients possible on a daily basis
  • Cut, slice vegetables and fruits and store them properly
  • Rotate food items in cold storage and trash any expired items
  • Sort, chop, and store food items that need to be used for cooking purposes
  • Serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner
  • Quickly and accurately prepare food items
  • Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensure proper set up and/or breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas
  • Effectively handle guest concerns and complaints
  • Work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift
  • Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of Snappy Salads
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Contributes to a positive team environment
