The Team Member position at Pizza Hut is a dynamic role that covers various responsibilities integral to the smooth operation of the restaurant. This multi-faceted role may include Customer Service Representative duties, dough preparation, product assembly and packaging, cooking, WingStreet food preparation, and receiving and stocking inventory. The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to handle cash transactions responsibly, use point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, communicate clearly and courteously with customers and team members, and uphold cleanliness and safety protocols throughout the restaurant. Team Members are expected to foster a clean and inviting atmosphere by managing waste disposal, maintaining outside lot cleanliness, and ensuring that all food displays conform to appearance and temperature standards. In addition to customer service and food preparation duties, Team Members play a critical role in inventory management through receiving, checking, and properly storing all food and supply deliveries following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures and food safety regulations. Job Duties

  • Provide quick and efficient service to customers
  • Greet customers and take food and beverage orders
  • Accurately record customer orders in POS system and compute bills
  • Check orders for completeness and accuracy
  • Inform kitchen staff of shortages or special requests
  • Take out trash and keep exterior lot clean throughout shift
  • Ensure accurate accounting of transactions and cash handling
  • Receive and verify starting cash drawer
  • Review price changes and menu specials
  • Enter and verify guests' orders
  • Follow cash handling policies
  • Collect payments and make change
  • Count money and reconcile cash drawer at shift end
  • Maintain cleanliness of lobby, register areas, counters, display refrigerators, and steam table
  • Ensure all display foods are presented attractively and at correct temperatures
  • Clean display equipment and workstations thoroughly
  • Relay customer comments to supervisor
  • Prepare dough and food items according to standards
  • Select and operate food prep equipment
  • Follow all food safety procedures
  • Check and maintain assembly station supplies
  • Assemble products and verify order quality
  • Monitor oven settings and production cycles
  • Prepare and assemble products per customer orders and portion specifications
  • Set up workstations properly and maintain cleanliness
  • Monitor food safety and sanitation
  • Manage inventory and call for replenishments
  • Track order preparation times and coordinate specials or missing items
  • Perform dishwashing as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff
  • Set up and maintain promotional flyers
  • Use fryer and prepare WingStreet products
  • Receive and store food, supplies, and materials correctly
  • Check incoming items for count, quality, and specifications
  • Maintain storage area cleanliness and safety
  • Ensure proper inventory rotation
