The chosen candidate will become a key part of the front-facing team, responsible for creating memorable experiences for both existing and prospective members. Daily responsibilities blend hospitality with practical operational tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and service. This position requires a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask effectively while managing interactions on the phone, in person, and through point-of-sale systems.

As a team member, you will welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm, providing detailed information about memberships and tours to prospective members. You will also ensure the gym environment remains inviting and spotless through routine cleaning responsibilities. Additionally, you will manage membership sign-ups, handle phone inquiries, process transactions efficiently, and assist with resolving billing concerns, escalating issues to leadership when necessary. Staying informed about the company’s programs, amenities, and equipment is crucial so that you can assist members knowledgeably and confidently. For locations with smoothie bars, the role includes preparing and serving smoothies that meet customer expectations and quality standards. Regular team meetings and ongoing training through the Learning Management System will help you stay current with company updates and growth opportunities. Job Requirements

  • Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment

Job Duties

  • Welcome, greet, and interact with all members, prospective members, and guests
  • Provide membership information and facilitate tours
  • Complete daily cleaning tasks and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
  • Membership sign-ups, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, and addressing member concerns
  • Assist with billing issues and disputes and escalate to leadership when needed
  • Regularly review and complete all training materials and updates in the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Maintain knowledge and assist members with all amenities, membership offerings, fitness programs, and equipment functions
  • Make and serve smoothies, if applicable, ensuring they meet customer specifications and maintaining quality standards
  • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings
