The Team Member role at Pollo Nation is integral to the overall success of the restaurant. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities geared toward food preparation, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the establishment. Team Members play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and appreciated. They greet customers warmly, take accurate orders either through direct communication or automated systems, and relay these orders efficiently to kitchen staff. Additionally, they are involved in the cooking, packaging, and preparation of food and beverages using various kitchen equipment including fryers and grills while strictly adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols. Stocking kitchen and customer service areas with necessary supplies is also a key aspect of this role.
Beyond food service, Team Members are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire restaurant premises. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, polishing surfaces, and ensuring that dining areas present a tidy and inviting environment. The position requires a proactive attitude towards safety, including complying with alcoholic beverage laws when applicable and ensuring safe access for patrons. There is no supervisory responsibility, making this role focused entirely on operational excellence and customer engagement.

Job Duties
- Greet and thank customers
- place customer food and beverage orders through verbal communication and/or automated systems
- relay customer food and beverage orders from service counter to kitchen operations
- cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment while following food safety and sanitation procedures
- stock kitchen and customer service operations with necessary food, beverage, packaging and service materials
- stock salsa bars with appropriate sauces, condiments, paper and utensils
- fill food and beverage orders for customers
- collect customer payments and return proper change using cash register
- unload deliveries of food, beverage, packaging and serving materials
- clean the interior and exterior of the restaurant including floors, tables, windows, doors, kitchenware, and equipment
- observe and follow alcoholic beverage laws when applicable
- maintain safe public access to the restaurant
- perform other duties as assigned by management
