The Team Member role at Caribou Coffee is fundamental to delivering the brand’s mission of sparking a chain reaction of good through outstanding customer service. As a Team Member, you will be at the heart of the Caribou experience, responsible for handcrafting world-class beverages, providing attentive and personalized guest service, and embodying the company's core values in every interaction. This role requires enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to create memorable moments for customers. Responsibilities include engaging with guests to build lasting connections, anticipating and responding to guest needs with hospitality and product knowledge, and ensuring the store environment reflects cleanliness and organization that meets Caribou's high operational standards. Team Members also demonstrate flexibility by performing various roles throughout the store, including barista, cashier, and guest service associate.

Available shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, allowing for flexibility in scheduling. Caribou Coffee encourages applicants who are at least 16 years of age and those with previous experience in restaurant, retail, or guest services to apply. The physical demands of this position require standing, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving intermittently throughout shift hours, which range from 4 to 8 hours.   • hand-crafts beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
  • heats, prepares, and serves Caribou food offerings to Caribou standard operating procedures
  • floats between barista and guest service, and willingly fulfills all team member roles and responsibilities
  • takes guest orders and manages cash drawer and follows all cash handling policies and procedures
  • maintains the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization and organization standards
  • actively thinks and acts upon what the team and guest will need in the future
  • differentiates between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support
  • understands that the team is managing multiple priorities and willingly takes direction from leaders
