The role of a Pizza Hut Team Member involves performing various duties across different operational areas including Customer Service Representative (CSR), Dough Prep, Cut & Pack, Cook, Wing Street, and Receiving & Stocking. Team Members are responsible for engaging customers with a friendly attitude, preparing food items following stringent quality and portioning standards, and ensuring all orders are accurately fulfilled and delivered promptly.

Working at Pizza Hut as a Team Member offers an hourly wage of $16.00. The role requires a physical presence on-site, involving standing, walking, and occasional lifting for extended periods. Team Members contribute directly to the overall customer satisfaction and operational success by maintaining cleanliness in dining and cooking areas, handling cash and POS transactions accurately, and adhering to safety and hygiene standards. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to stand and walk for full shift
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
  • Tuberculosis Clearance Certificate required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous food service and/or cash handling experience preferred but not necessary
  • Must be able to perform basic math skills
  • Demonstrate ability to understand and implement instructions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with customers and team
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand primary language used at work site
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Must obtain a Tuberculosis Clearance Certificate

Job Duties

  • Provide quick and efficient service to customers
  • Greet customers and take food and beverage orders
  • Accurately record orders on POS system and compute bill amounts
  • Check orders for completeness and correctness
  • Inform kitchen staff of shortages or special requests
  • Take out trash to dumpster
  • Sweep and keep exterior lot clean throughout the shift
  • Ensure accurate accounting of transactions during work shift
  • Receive and verify cash drawer accuracy
  • Review price changes or menu specials
  • Collect cash or charge payments and provide receipts
  • Count money and charges at end of shift
  • Maintain cleanliness of lobby and register areas
  • Check display food presentation and maintain under proper conditions
  • Clean workstation thoroughly before leaving
  • Relay customer comments to supervisor
  • Prepare dough as prescribed by Manager
  • Comply with portioning and quality standards
  • Prep food items as assigned
  • Select and transport raw items and store finished products
  • Use proper equipment for dough preparation
  • Follow all food safety procedures
  • Check workstations for equipment and stock
  • Assemble products and conduct quality checks
  • Monitor oven settings
  • Communicate with kitchen and front-line staff
  • Prepare and assemble products per customer order and portion specifications
  • Set up maketable and check inventory
  • Monitor food safety and sanitation
  • Coordinate order preparation and track times
  • Perform dishwashing as needed
  • Communicate effectively with food production team
  • Clean and sanitize workstations
  • Supervise close-down duties
  • Maintain brand operating standards
  • Use fryer and package wings according to standards
  • Receive and store all food, supplies and materials properly
  • Inspect incoming items for quality and count
  • Maintain delivery and inventory records
  • Keep storage areas neat and safe
  • Ensure proper inventory dating and FIFO usage
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Practice safety at all times
