The Team Member role at Restaurant Brands California is a frontline position essential to delivering seamless customer service and operational excellence at our KFC locations. As a Team Member, you will be primarily responsible for interacting with guests, taking and processing orders accurately, handling cash transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction at every visit. This position demands a friendly attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping all areas—including dining rooms and bathrooms—clean and welcoming. Beyond cashier duties, Team Members also support food preparation tasks such as cooking side dishes and assembling orders from the packline.

This full-time role offers a competitive pay range of $20 to $22 per hour and includes various shifts such as day, evening, and weekend schedules, providing flexibility to meet diverse availability. The position is classified as at-will employment, meaning either the employer or employee can terminate the relationship at any time without notice or cause, consistent with applicable laws. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience working as a cook customer service representative or cashier desired
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene standards
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or cashier experience in a quick service environment or similar role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel
  • Interest and availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to prioritize work demonstrate problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and high personal standards for quality of work
  • Interest in continued training and development

Job Duties

  • Be friendly
  • Assist guests in selecting their meal and suggestive sell
  • Ensure orders are accurate
  • Maintain an accurate balanced cash till by following all cash handling procedures
  • Follow all company standards and procedures to fulfill orders
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Wash dishes during slow periods
  • Heat up or cook side dishes and prep for the day or next day
