Job Requirements

At least 16 years of age
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with music, customer and employee traffic
Ability to manage potential allergens including peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
Compliance with food safety certification within 30 days if working in Illinois
Strong customer service orientation
Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in fast-food or customer service roles is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic knife skills are an advantage
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to manage allergens such as peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
Ability to stand or walk for a minimum of 3 hours
Capable of lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Food safety certification required within 30 days for Illinois applicants

Job Duties

Work multiple stations including load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager
Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety
Restock food line, chips and cooler
Prepare quality finished products such as sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream efficiently
If 18 or older, use of the automatic slicer to prep food items
Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils
take out trash
Operate cash register including handling, balancing and following all cash handling procedures
Effectively handle customer complaints and issues
Take delivery, catering, pickup orders over the phone
Perform other duties as assigned
