Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Comprehension of basic math
- Willingness to work in cold, wet, fast-paced 24-hour plant environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- GED or high school diploma
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use PPE
- Physical ability to work near moving machinery and in loud environments
- Availability to adapt to flexible schedules as needed
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Basic math comprehension
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment preferred
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- GED or High School Diploma
- Willingness to be cross-trained in different production roles
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation protocols
Job Duties
- Follow GMP/PPE and safety guidelines
- Maintain HACCP and sanitation processes
- Use proper tools for packing and filling
- Understand and meet yield standards
- Work safely around moving equipment and conveyors
- Place product and condiments into bowls accurately
- Pack units into approved cases
- Follow salad blending specifications
- Visually inspect product quality including seal integrity and weight
- Cross-train and multitask in multiple production positions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Comply with SQF regulatory programs
- Notify quality assurance of any quality issues
- Operate dishwasher and maintain production tools
- Change tape machines and box labelers as needed
- Follow and enforce 5S methodology
- Clean bowls and process cleaning of totes
