Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food service or customer service roles preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be at least 16 years old or meet local labor regulations

Job Duties

  • greet and thank customers
  • place customer food and beverage orders through verbal communication and/or automated systems
  • relay customer food and beverage orders from service counter to kitchen operations
  • cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment while following food safety and sanitation procedures
  • stock kitchen and customer service operations with necessary supplies
  • stock salsa bars with appropriate levels of sauces, condiments, paper and utensils
  • fill food and beverage orders as part of the coordinated kitchen and customer service operations
  • collect customer payments and return proper change using cash register
  • unload deliveries of supplies to restaurant
  • clean interior and exterior of the restaurant premises including floors, tables, counters, kitchenware, and equipment
  • observe and follow alcoholic beverage laws when applicable
  • maintain safe public access to the restaurant
  • perform all other duties as assigned by management
