The Production Team Leader role at Rich's Crest Hill, Illinois location is a vital part of the operations segment. This role is responsible for enhancing the daily execution of supervisory responsibilities to meet Rich's objectives effectively. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum five years experience in food manufacturing
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience
  • Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong math skills
  • Fluent in English with ability to communicate effectively
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Leadership and team motivation skills
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices
  • Ability to follow and enforce safety and operational procedures

Job Duties

  • Supervises the daily production schedule execution
  • Ensures manufacturing complies with customer and company specifications
  • Maintains or exceeds manufacturing standards, yields, and efficiencies
  • Promotes continuous improvement processes throughout the facility
  • Promotes quality of work life for all employees
  • Ensures completion of all required production documentation according to company policies
  • Trains line leads and employees on rules, safety, good manufacturing practices, standard operating procedures, and job expectations
  • Resolves employee issues through grievance process and recommends recognitions, promotions, or disciplinary actions
  • Attends and completes all company-sponsored training
