The Team Flex Busser position at Pebble Beach Company plays a vital role in supporting the restaurant operations by assisting bartenders and servers in delivering a seamless and memorable dining experience. This full-time role is integral to maintaining high standards of guest service through prompt, courteous attention to all guests, ensuring their needs are anticipated and met efficiently. The Team Flex Busser is responsible for coordinating guests' dining experiences, clearing, wiping, and resetting tables both indoors and on patios, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining areas. The role demands attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented approach to uphold the Forbes steps of service standards, including serving from the left and clearing from the right.
Additional duties include assisting servers with drink delivery, restocking server and bar stations, brewing coffee and iced tea, and ensuring all tables have the appropriate silverware and condiments. This position also supports secondary tasks such as running food from the kitchen to guests, assisting hosts with guest seating and greetings, helping set up and break down events, and managing inventory restocking. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to comply with Pebble Beach Company policies including drug-free workplace and pre-employment substance abuse testing

Job Duties
- Clearing, wiping, and cleaning tables on patio and main dining and bar areas
- Anticipate guests needs and provide proper silverware, share plates, and condiments
- Follow Forbes steps of service standards
- Assist servers delivering drinks to tables using guest names
- Maintain general housekeeping including cleaning fixtures, appliances, counters, dusting, and sweeping
- Keep tables and stations clean and tidy, promptly clean spills
- Restock ice for server stations, bar ice wells, and ice carts
- Restock bar glassware, empty recycling and trash bins
- Refill server side stations and patio with water bottles
- Sweep and mop dining room and patio floors
- Brew coffee and iced tea as needed
- Ensure side stations have adequate supplies of roll ups, side plates, sanitizer buckets, and water glasses
- Use tray to buss dishes and glasses
- Complete tasks assigned by manager or supervisor
- Maintain stocked plates at pizza oven and hot line
- Carry trays of dirty dishes to dishwasher and unload properly
- Assist with taking down linen bags, recycling and trash to loading dock
