Job Requirements

  • US citizenship
  • ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
  • associate degree in aviation or relevant experience
  • minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a STEM or aviation-related role
  • availability to work full-time during day shifts
  • no history of disqualifying criminal background
  • strong communication skills
  • willingness to undergo FAA training and certification

Job Qualifications

  • associate degree in aviation from an accredited college or university
  • minimum of 1 year of experience as a teaching assistant or similar role in a STEM field
  • alternatively, 1 year of relevant aviation experience such as former CTI instructor, flight dispatcher, or flight/airline coordinator
  • ability to receive FAA training and certification
  • US citizenship
  • ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance

Job Duties

  • assist instructors with non-instructional tasks
  • serve as an instructor for the Air Traffic Basics course
  • interact with students in specific situations
  • receive FAA general and course-specific training
  • obtain FAA certification to meet defined job duties
  • support the delivery of training programs
  • facilitate a productive learning environment
