Job Requirements
- Must have two years of responsible experience in security industry or business management
- Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers if required
- Must possess specific skills, certifications, or authorizations for assigned accounts
- Must know security operations and supervisory practices
- Must be skilled in staff supervision including assigning work and discipline
- Must be able to maintain schedule assignments
- Must maintain professional composure
- Must know business operations management and human resources administration
- Must use personal computer and spreadsheet software
- Must have planning, organizing, leadership skills
- Must have oral and written communication skills
- Must possess strong customer service orientation
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Must be able to adapt to changing environments
- Must undergo background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral surveys
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and performing physical activities like walking, stooping, and kneeling

Job Duties
- Serve as a key point of client contact to ensure delivery of high quality customer service for assigned account
- Evaluate service quality and initiate necessary corrective action
- Meet regularly with client representatives for status updates and address potential problems
- Assist line management in client contract negotiation
- Support security planning, assessments, and surveys
- Review and update post orders
- Oversee recruitment, selection, orientation, training, development, and retention of staff
- Ensure staff are treated with dignity and respect
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Coach employees and carry out disciplinary actions as necessary
- Maintain a positive and professional environment in compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Authorize appropriate expenditures including equipment, supplies, and vehicles
- Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and administer driver training
- Maintain and submit payroll records and other business information
- Prepare and coordinate staffing schedules to meet client requirements and control labor costs
- Review Security Officer site reports to verify compliance with post orders and client directives
- Personally inspect all posts to evaluate security staff
- Provide input to company initiatives
- Assist in resolution of legal, financial, human resources, and administrative issues
- Perform similar tasks as required for assigned accounts
