Job Requirements
- Two or more years' experience in taxation with a public accounting firm
- Masters or equivalent 150 college credit hours with necessary accounting courses
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Ability to work flexible schedules based on business needs
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in tax preparation at federal and state levels
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to high-caliber client service
Job Qualifications
- Two or more years' experience in taxation with a public accounting firm
- Masters degree or completion of 150 college credit hours with requisite accounting courses (Bachelor degrees may be considered)
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage tax engagements to completion
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Work directly with other BNN tax professionals, clients, and advisors to prepare federal and state income tax returns
- Utilize tax research tools to determine appropriate tax treatments for client transactions
- Manage tax engagements ensuring successful and efficient completion
- Communicate professionally with various levels of client management
- Prioritize workload and assist staff in developing prioritization skills
- Motivate and mentor junior staff through professional and technical guidance
- Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness in problem-solving and analyses
