Job Description

We are currently seeking a Cook (Cocinero) to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals who are passionate about food preparation and committed to supporting the chefs in delivering an outstanding dining experience. The Cook position directly supports the Executive Chef, Assistant Executive Chef, Room Chef, and Assistant Room Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations. The role entails preparing a wide variety of food items including meats, fish, eggs, vegetables, and more using multiple cooking methods. The cook will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area, keeping cold food items well stocked, and ensuring that kitchen equipment is in good working order. A key aspect of this position is adhering to strict safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards to promote a healthy workplace and food safety compliance.

This position requires a minimum of one to two years of cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant environment, where fast-paced, quality food preparation under pressure is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, great attention to detail, and the ability to obtain all necessary work cards and certifications applicable to the foodservice industry. The role demands a proactive approach to kitchen maintenance and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with the entire culinary team.
