Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least two years of experience in kitchen management
  • Strong communication skills for one-on-one and group interactions
  • Ability to apply practical reasoning
  • Writing competency for correspondence and publications
  • Math skills including working with fractions and decimals
  • Intermediate computer proficiency
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Ability to communicate in English occupationally
  • Must obtain and maintain all required work cards
  • Legal right to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of previous experience in kitchen management
  • Ability to communicate effectively in various group settings
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning to different situations
  • Ability to write effective communications and respond to inquiries
  • Ability to perform basic and advanced mathematical operations
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all required work cards
  • Verify right to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Assumes complete charge of the kitchen
  • Plan, organize and implement daily assignments
  • Maintain knowledge of all cook classifications and their duties
  • Know the proper preparation of all menu items to specifications
  • Check preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishes, and inventory
  • Oversee food deliveries and proper rotation of perishable items
  • Maintain and enforce all company and health department sanitation requirements
  • Administer disciplinary actions and mediate disputes
  • Train, coach, and give instructions as needed
  • Observe team members to ensure duties meet company standards
  • Enforce dress code and appearance standards
  • Adapt crew to changes in volume of business
  • Maintain daily production inventory
  • Assist in cooking, portioning, and cleaning
  • Ensure compliance with applicable gaming laws and internal policies
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned
