Job Description

Cutwater Spirits is a distinguished spirits company committed to crafting exceptional products and delivering unmatched experiences. Known for its bold approach to innovation, the company operates in the beverage industry with an emphasis on producing a diverse portfolio, including award-winning whiskeys, vodka, gin, rums, tequilas, and liqueurs. By focusing on quality and customer satisfaction, Cutwater Spirits has established itself as a leader while maintaining a vibrant and adventurous company culture. Based in San Diego, the company takes pride in its passionate team and encourages continuous growth, creativity, and collaboration among all employees. The role of Tasting Room Supervisor is a pivotal leadership position within the company's hospitality operations, designed for individuals eager to contribute significantly to the brand's promise of excellence and guest satisfaction.

The Tasting Room Supervisor leads the Front of House team in a dynamic environment that includes a spacious tasting room accommodating over 220 guests, a fully operational bar and kitchen, a retail shop, and guided tours. This hands-on leadership role demands a blend of real-time coaching, strategic execution, and operational management to ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining high service standards, from guest interactions and hospitality to safeguarding compliance with operational procedures and regulatory requirements. This position supports the overall Tasting Room leadership by translating strategies into actionable plans that promote clarity, accountability, and an inclusive team culture.

Working autonomously under the Tasting Room and Kitchen General Manager, the supervisor plays a critical role in labor management, shift execution, training support, and coordination across various departments. Whether handling daily operations or stepping in as Manager on Duty, the individual is tasked with sustaining service excellence while addressing challenges proactively. Candidates for this role should possess substantial restaurant experience, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of hospitality standards. This position offers a competitive salary of $71K with additional quarterly bonus potential and provides an opportunity to join a forward-thinking company where dreaming big and pushing boundaries are integral to the future.
