At Bottaia Winery, we operate on the beautiful Ponte Family Estate Ranch, just east of the Ponte Winery Tasting Room. Our Bottaia Tasting Room and Pool Club are designed to provide guests with a distinct experience within Temecula Wine Country. Featuring new, innovative wines alongside amenities such as a semi-Olympic size pool, a splash pad for children, 30 traditional Italian cabines (beach changing rooms), and a vibrant poolside bar and café, we create an inviting environment for visitors to relax and enjoy. We are actively seeking an experienced, passionate Tasting Room Barback to join our dedicated team at Bottaia Winery. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of service our guests expect. The Tasting Room Barback is responsible for preparing the tasting counter for servers, ensuring all stations are fully stocked, and supporting the smooth operation of the tasting room. This position works closely with servers to provide the necessary tools to exceed guest expectations, contributing significantly to the overall guest experience.

This is a part-time role operating primarily Wednesday through Sunday, with weekend availability being mandatory to meet business needs. The compensation for this position is competitive at $16.90 per hour plus tips, making it both a rewarding and lucrative opportunity for the right candidate. The nature of the job involves physical activity such as lifting weights up to 40-50 pounds regularly and standing for long periods, which means candidates must be prepared for a physically demanding working environment.

The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and efficient, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You'll be expected to interact warmly and professionally with guests, carry out tasting room preparation including setting up, stocking, and cleaning, and uphold both the environmental standards and company values set forth by Bottaia and Ponte Winery. If you are passionate about wine, guest service, and embody a positive attitude with good communication skills, you will thrive in this role. Experience with wine is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
