The role of a Tasting Room Attendant at Cooper's Hawk is much more than simply pouring wine. It is about creating meaningful moments through genuine hospitality, friendly conversation, and comprehensive product knowledge. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about food, wine, and people, as they will guide guests through the diverse wine selections and retail products while encouraging them to become part of the renowned Wine Club community. This is an hourly position, with pay ranging from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful Tasting Room Attendants at Cooper's Hawk are expected to be prepared and knowledgeable, maintaining clean and well-stocked stations, mastering the menu and retail products, and taking ownership of their responsibilities. They support team efforts in various tasks, communicate effectively to ensure smooth service flow, and tailor each guest experience based on individual preferences. Creating memorable moments by sharing the story of Cooper's Hawk, introducing tastings, and inviting guests to join the Wine Club are integral parts of the role.

Applicants should be at least 21 years old with preferred experience in restaurants, retail, or wine-related environments. Strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and stand for extended periods. Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds and flexible availability including weekends and some holidays are also required. Job Duties

  • Show up ready for service and maintain prepared, clean, and stocked stations
  • Learn and master the food, wine, and retail offerings to confidently guide guests
  • Restock and maintain product displays and support team tasks, including carryout orders and guest service
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and memorable service flow
  • Welcome guests warmly, answer questions about wine, food, and the Wine Club, and build relationships
  • Share the story of Cooper's Hawk and invite guests to join the Wine Club
  • Introduce tastings and special retail items to enrich guest experiences
