Job Description
We are a dynamic winery located in Woodinville, Washington, known for delivering exceptional wine experiences through our tasting room and exclusive wine club memberships. Our establishment prides itself on a customer-centric approach, blending passion for wine with superior service. As a notable player in the vibrant Washington State wine region, we embrace innovation and hospitality to create memorable visits for locals and tourists alike. Our tasting room serves as a hub where wine enthusiasts gather to explore curated selections, engage in enriching tastings, and connect with the story behind each bottle. We offer an inviting atmosphere that caters to both casual visitors and dedicated wine club members, fostering a loyal community around our brand.
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Tasting Room Associate to join our Woodinville team. This role is perfect for someone energetic, motivated, and passionate about wine and customer service. The position requires 15-20 hours per week with a focus on weekend availability and some weekday shifts. Compensation includes a competitive market hourly rate around $20 per hour, along with tips and commissions on wine club sales.
The Part-Time Tasting Room Associate plays a crucial role in providing curated and VIP wine tasting experiences to our guests and members. Beyond the tastings, this role is instrumental in driving sales of tasting room purchases and expanding our wine club memberships. Associates support the execution of winery-sponsored and private events, ensuring that every occasion is seamless and enjoyable. Opening and closing the tasting room with full responsibility is also part of the role, requiring reliability and solid operational skills. This role demands a genuine passion for wine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a lively environment. A key requirement includes holding a valid Washington State MAST Class 12 Permit and the physical ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, ensuring workplace safety and efficiency.
Joining our team means becoming part of a collaborative culture that values enthusiasm, teamwork, and a shared love for wine. You'll have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of Washington State wines, interact with a welcoming and diverse clientele, and contribute to the growth of a respected winery. This is a unique chance to engage in the wine industry, build professional skills, and be rewarded for your efforts through competitive pay and commission structures. Whether you are looking for a fulfilling part-time role or aiming to expand your expertise in wine hospitality, this position offers a dynamic and supportive environment to thrive.
