The company fosters a strong service culture, prioritizing hospitality that is respectful, authentic, and consistently focused on exceeding the expectations of both internal teams and external guests. SHG's mission is rooted in making a positive impact through exceptional service, continuous improvement, and a people-centered approach that values every member of its workforce.

The position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and possesses a strong initiative for personal achievement. This role requires travel approximately 90% of the time and involves direct responsibility for driving sales, managing hotel operations, and ensuring exceptional experiences for guests. The Task Force General Manager will oversee all aspects of property management, from staff leadership and training to maintaining brand standards, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legal regulations, and achieving financial goals through effective cost management and revenue optimization.

Duties include maintaining safety, comfort, and cleanliness of hotel facilities, actively participating in community and governmental affairs, and supporting the sales team through hands-on engagement. The ideal candidate will have significant hospitality management experience, particularly within Hyatt or IHG branded hotels, and possess strong business acumen with proficient knowledge of P&L management. Excellent communication skills, computer literacy including Opera/Fosse systems, and the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams are essential qualities for success in this position.
Joining SHG means becoming part of an inclusive and employee-focused work environment committed to your professional development. The company offers flexible work conditions, exciting perks, and a comprehensive benefits package. Employees benefit from innovative programs such as daily pay, free telemedicine and virtual mental health care from day one, multiple health and life insurance options, a 401k plan with company match, paid parental leave, paid time off, holiday pay, pet insurance, and access to discounts through the Schulte Savings Marketplace.
