Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- advanced expertise in pricing and tariffs
- experience with revenue management principles
- proficiency in ATPCO FareManager system
- ability to code ATPCO categories
- familiarity with major GDS pricing and ticketing
- experience with host reservation system conversions or expansions
- strong communication skills
- U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
- minimum 18 years of age
- ability to comply with attendance standards
- maintain well-groomed appearance according to company standards
- ability to work from Dallas headquarters
- physical ability to perform duties at a workstation for extended periods
- English language proficiency
- computer literacy with speed and accuracy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- advanced experience in pricing and tariffs
- seasoned knowledge of revenue management principles
- proficient with ATPCO FareManager system
- ability to code ATPCO categories 25, 35, 31, 33
- familiarity with shopping, pricing, and ticketing functions in major GDS
- experience with host reservations system conversions or expansions
- strong problem-solving skills
- skilled in customer service principles
- proficiency in Excel or spreadsheets
- ability to learn new tools
- effective communicator
- ability to mentor and train peers
Job Duties
- Code all fare basis codes, pass fare filings, fare rules, seasonality, and footnotes to support Southwest filed fares
- create and maintain fare rule filings in ATPCO
- communicate and interact effectively and professionally with all levels of internal customers
- develop and run appropriate quality control to ensure all fare promotions meet internal and external compliance requirements
- interface with sales team on implementation of corporate discounts and negotiated fares
- partner with ATPCO, GDS, Commercial teams and other stakeholders to develop support and enhance automated pricing and distribution systems
- execute regulatory filings with foreign bodies governing air service using ATPCO system
