Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years bar or restaurant experience
- Brewery or retail management experience at large venues
- TIPS certification required or acquired within 3 months of hire
- Advanced knowledge of Restaurant POS systems (Aloha preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Illustrator
- Experience in strategic planning and communication
- Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to work long hours on feet
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Composure under demanding situations
Job Qualifications

- Experience in brewery or retail management at large venues
- Proficiency with Restaurant POS systems (Aloha preferred)
- Knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Illustrator

- Strong verbal communication and management skills
- Customer-focused with ability to manage profitability and quality
- Ability to work high volume shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Develop and manage scheduling of taproom co-workers
- Be present and available during peak taproom hours including nights, weekends, and special events
- Work alongside taproom team as bartender, bar-back, or register operator
- Lead interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching of taproom staff
- Approve time cards and manage employee performance
- Educate co-workers on brewing knowledge, beer styles, hospitality, merchandise, and special events
- Foster an inclusive environment for guests and staff
- Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate beer releases with brewer
- Support charitable outreach and engage with Outreach Coordinator
- Assist Marketing Team in customer engagement and social media
- Facilitate transition to Brewpub licensing and service offerings
- Maintain sanitation standards and observe safety practices
- Communicate effectively with team and leadership
- Lead regular meetings with Taproom and Leadership Teams
- Act as liaison with outside contractors
- Manage and promote room rentals and private event bookings
- Coordinate artist exhibit schedule
- Communicate event details to relevant parties
- Enhance guest experience through exceptional service and ambiance
- Handle guest complaints and negative reviews professionally
- Manage cash deposits and financial reporting
- Update menu, Point of Sale, and tap lineup
- Oversee beer quality and inventory
- Manage inventory and supplies
- Coordinate janitorial and outside services
- Approve invoices and purchase orders
- Work with leadership to manage budgets, sales, and profitability
- Engage in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and sustainable taproom environment
