Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to carry trays and lift moderate weight

  • willingness to follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred but not required
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

  • completion of assigned training and courses

Job Duties

  • Use the opening and closing checklists on a daily basis to track completion of opening and closing procedures
  • create the best guest experience and cultivate customer return
  • respond to guests needs or requests in a timely manner
  • maintain table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils
  • support wait staff by assisting them with delivery of food and retrieval of supplies they may require
  • prepare dining areas for guests by setting tables and stocking all necessary supplies prior to service
  • clear and aid dishwasher receiving area
  • carry dirty dishes from bus area to dishwasher
  • maintain stock of all supplies during service hours for timely table resetting
  • mop and clean spills
  • regularly conduct restroom checks and replenish supplies as needed
  • monitor ticket times for all items in the kitchen
  • notify chef and manager when ticket times get abnormally long
  • ensure all food and drink items delivered to guests meet Sevilla expectations and are accurate to the recipe
  • communicate with host staff regarding table availability
  • provide assistance for positive resolution of guest concerns
  • protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies
  • immediately report any maintenance, security or safety issues to management
  • maintain clean, organized and safe work areas
  • adhere to all daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • carry a tray at all times
  • provide great customer service and engage guests to ensure they are happy with food and service
  • complete all assigned training tests and courses
  • maintain a positive work attitude and friendly demeanor
  • adhere to uniform expectations per Sevilla handbook and policy
